What is PEMF Therapy?

Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Field Therapy works at the cellular level to help the body’s ability to heal itself

PEMF therapy actually originated from NASA’s research involving the benefits of pulsed electromagnetic fields on astronauts for fatigue, depression, bone loss and other symptoms following even short trips into outer space.
Scientists discovered that the cause was due to astronauts being without this beneficial natural field emanating from

our Earth.
PEMF therapy is modeled after the earth’s own electro-magnetic pulse and is used to improve circulation
and cell metabolism.
PEMF therapy introduces a low frequency pulsed electromagnetic field that recharges the cells of the
body,
allowing them to float freely, increasing their effective functioning surface area and consequently enhancing
circulation, oxygenation and hydration. At the same time cellular ability to absorb nutrients and remove toxins from the body is greatly increased.

Clinical experience has shown that pulsed electromagnetic field therapy promotes overall wellness, and it’s many benefits include:

  • eliminate/reduce pain
  • reduce inflammation
  • increase circulation /blood flow
  • improve oxygenation
  • increase range of motion
  • improve performance
  • end urinary incontinence
  • relieve sleep disturbances
  • accelerate wound healing
  • increase metabolism and energy
  • elevate mood, reduce anxiety

"PEMF is a benefit for Mankind from infant to the geriatric. PEMF
will lead to a change in the paradigm of medicine."
Dr. Linus Pauling,Two Time  Nobel Prize Winner

Check out what Dr OZ has to say about PEMF in the video, below:
PEMF is a non-invasive, painless treatment that works by emitting a pulsating, varying intensity and frequency electromagnetic field, through a variety of mats and assorted “loops”.  According to research findings, the application of pulsed pulsed magnetic fields has been shown to help the body to restore normal potentials at an accelerated rate, thusaiding the healing of most wounds, regenerating tissue and reducing swelling faster.  A key benefit of PEMF therapy is that there are generally no side-effects* and a treatment only takes approximately 30 minutes. It is applied by running an electrical current through a copper coil which creates a magnetic field (there are many different styles of devices and technology), which penetrates through the body,
including muscle tissue and even bone.
PEMF therapy improves blood circulation and increases oxygen distribution around the body (when blood cells are stacked together, they are not working to their full potential), making it a very useful and non-invasive therapeutic option for pain relief and post-injury healing. PEMF also encourages the blood cells to spread out and reduce plaque in the bloodstream to decrease blood viscosity.

*Contraindicated for use with pacemakers or implanted electrical devices.  Some people may experience a slight “detox” reaction.
While PEMF has benefited and is used by millions of people around the world, however, many in the U.S. have never heard of it.
Dr. OZ did a feature about PEMF on his popular television show.  The clip is under 15 minutes long
and if you're not familiar with PEMF it's a great introduction. Check it out!

Here are two more short videos about PEMF therapy.  The first one is by a Chiropractor that uses PEMF therapy in his Pain Management clinic, and he has a lot of experience with a variety of people - very interesting and under five minutes.    The  second video has some great information, yet only refers to a 'pemf mat' vs PEMF devices. Enjoy!
There are hundreds of studies spanning
the last 50+ years proving the safety and
efficacy of PEMF therapy.
